survival.
Well, there you have it. It is nearly the middle of 2012, and you haven’t reached your goal yet. “Man, I thought I’d be further by now.” “I was supposed to have lost WAY more weight by now.” “I give up.” Don’t even talk like that. Don’t. There are twelve months in a year. TWELVE. Why should it matter if you reach your goal by summer, or by fall, or by winter? You can do this. You can. REMEMBER YOUR VOW? That 2012 was going to be YOUR year. THIS IS THE YEAR YOU’RE GETTING FIT. It’s not just about the first six months; it is about the whole entire year. It’s about this choices you made back in March, and the choices you’ll make in October. You can’t be held back by past decisions. You cannot change the past. You can’t. The only thing you can change is whether you’re going to eat that doughnut tomorrow, or go for fruit. If you’re going to be too lazy to work out next week, or you’re going to get your butt into gear. While you’re worrying about the past, your present will slip away. Don’t dwell on what you didn’t do. Be proud for making the decision to get fit. I don’t care if you gave up in February, or last week, because we both know you didn’t give up for good. You still want this. You are procrastinating success, and you CAN do this. TIME. It’s TIME. You said LAST TIME you wouldn’t give up, and the TIME BEFORE THAT. You’ve wasted SO MUCH TIME wishing and wanting and waiting, when you could have been working. TIME AND TIME AGAIN, you have kicked yourself for giving up, but didn’t get up. IT’S TIME to get up. IT’S TIME to remember what you’re working for. IT’S TIME TO TAKE A STAND. Not just for a New Year’s resolution. It’s not new year anymore, beautiful. It is halfway through, and you still deserve this. IT’S TIME for you to stop saying tomorrow. Or next year. THE TIME IS NOW. THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER DOES NOT MEAN THE END OF YOUR PROGRESS!
I need to remember this

Going for a run now to forget everything even for a little while.
